Calibers Summer Shooting League – General Guidelines
Firearms
Most league events will be handgun-focused.
Participants may use their own handgun or rent one from Calibers.
Red dot optics are permitted unless otherwise noted for a specific event.
Calibers
Most pistol calibers are permitted.
Certain events (such as steel or bowling pin matches) may require a centerfire pistol caliber of .380 ACP or larger.
Event-specific caliber requirements will be announced in advance.
Shooting Format
League events are designed to be fun and accessible for shooters of all skill levels.
All events will be conducted from a bench or table position.
Drawing from a holster will not be required.
Ammunition
Participants are responsible for providing their own ammunition unless otherwise stated.
Round counts will vary by event and will be announced beforehand.
All Calibers range policies apply, including restrictions on tracer, incendiary, black powder, and other prohibited ammunition types.
Scoring & Prizes
Each league event is scored independently and will have its own winner.
Scoring methods may vary depending on the event format.
Bullseye-style events will be scored based on target hits.
Challenge and competition-style events may be scored by placement, time, accuracy, or a combination of factors.
Scoring details will be explained during the event briefing.
Season-Long Prizes
In addition to weekly prizes, participants will earn entries into season-ending prize drawings.
Each event attended earns one raffle entry.
League VIP participants receive one bonus raffle entry at the first event.
Grand prize drawings will take place during the league finale.
Event Changes
League formats, courses of fire, and scoring methods may vary from event to event to keep the competition fresh and engaging.
Calibers reserves the right to modify event formats, equipment requirements, and scoring procedures as needed for safety and operational purposes.
Safety
All participants must follow Calibers range safety rules and staff instructions at all times.
Unsafe firearm handling may result in removal from an event without refund.
