Range fees are as follows:

  • All day use - $24.99 per person on a single lane
  • All day use - $19.99 per additional person on the same lane
  • All day use - $19.99 for military or law enforcement
  • All day use - $9.99 for children 13 - 17 years of age
  • All day use - Free for children 8 - 12 years of age
  • All day use - $9.99 on Ladies Days - Every Thursday
  • Two person maximum per lane

A current government issued photo identification card, with your current physical address on it is required.  Examples are youf drivers license or concealed carry permit.  If your identification does not have your current address, Calibers accept the following (in conjunction with your photo identification) if it has your current physical address:

  • Hunting or fishing license
  • Vehicle registration
  • Voter registration

**Calibers can release the firearm the same day if you receive a "proceed" status given through the NICS background system, if you have a current New Mexico Concealed Carry License.  If you do not have a current New Mexico Concealed Carry License, you are welcome to "Shoot While You Wait" at our facilities, until the New Mexico 7 day waiting period passes.  In the event you receive a "delay", Calibers cannot release the firearm unless the status is updated to "proceed" and 7 days have passed.

Yes, Calibers will facilitate the sell or purchase of a firearm between private parties. Upon agreement between the buyer and seller,  the buyer will be required to perform a background check. (See requirements for a background check). Upon the results of the background check, the following actions will be taken:

  • If the buyer receives a "proceed" from the ATF background check, Calibers will take possession of the firearm from the seller and then transfer the firearm to the buyer with the appropriate paperwork.
  • If the buyer receives a "delay" from the ATF background check, the seller will remain in possession of the firearm until a resolution is provided within 7 days. At which point Calibers will call both parties to notify them of the ATF's decision.
  • If the buyer receives a "denied" from the ATF background check, Calibers will immediately notify both parties of the denial from the ATF.

The fees for a private party transaction are as follows:

  • $35.00 per background check.
  • $55.00 per background check and firearm inspection by Calibers.
    • **No refunds will be given if the buyer is "denied" from purchasing the firearm from the seller.

 

Yes. Calibers will facilitate a transfer to or from another FFL dealer for you. Calibers can facilitate an outbound transfer any time during business hours. Please do not pack and seal your firearm. Calibers must inspect the firearm prior to sending it out. Before coming in to Calibers to send your firearm out, please ensure you know the following information:

  • Name, address, and phone number of the dealer we are sending it to.
  • Name and phone number of the individual that the firearm is ultimately going to.
  • Value of firearm (if you want shipping insurance)
  • Please note that it may take up to 10 days from when we receive the firearm to get it shipped out.
  • Calibers only accepts out of state transfers from other FFL's. We do not accept transfers shipped from private parties.
  • The transfer form must be completed before the firearm arrives. Please fill out the Transfer Form
  • Payment of the transfer fee is due upon pickup of the firearm.

Outbound transfers will also be charged the cost of packing and shipping the item. Outbound NFA items usually require the payment of another tax stamp and the approval of a Form 4 before we can take possession of them. Failure to fill out the inbound transfer form before the firearm is received by Calibers will result in an additional $15 per firearm processing fee. The Transfer fees are as follows:

  • FREE for Platinum members
  • $25.00 per firearm for Gold & Patriot members
  • $40.00 per firearm for non-members
  • $100.00 for any NFA item (silencer, sbr, sbs, machine gun, etc.)

Yes, Calibers offers discounted memberships, range fees, ammunition, and hundreds of additional retail items for the following personnel:

  • Military - Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, and Retired Military
  • Active and Retired Law Enforcement
  • Fire
  • EMS/Paramedic

RETURN POLICY

  • We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
  • The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
  • If you choose to bring the item to one of the store locations near you, they will be able to take the product from you; however they do not have the ability to process online returns. Additional time will be used while the online team processes your return. At the time of processing the return the restocking fee and the 15%

IN-STORE REFUNDS

  • With Receipt: Within 30 days from the date of purchase items may be returned or exchanged with original receipt. Refunds will be processed in the same tender form as the original purchase or in the form of store credit in the form of a Calibers Gift Card. Original packaging must be intact and product in new condition.
    Without Receipt: Items returned within the 30 day period without original receipt will be processed at the lowest sale price plus applicable sales tax. Such items may be exchanged for the same product or returned for merchandise credit in the form of a Calibers Gift Card.

    • No refunds or exchanges will be made on ammunition, all sales are final.
    • Special orders will be subject to restocking fees.
    • Black powder guns, gun powders, and primers may not be returned.
    • Optics, gun safes, suppressors may not be returned for any reason.  Assistance with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) information may be requested. However, Calibers will not facilitate the actual RMA.
  • If a product has been abused, neglected, or used in a manner not in accordance with manufacturer guidelines Calibers reserves the right to refuse refund or exchange. Instead Calibers will get you the manufacturers information for you to pursue a return authorization for product replacement.

ONLINE PURCHASE / ONLINE REFUNDS

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact Calibers for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product.  If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, minus a restocking fee.  The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA.  All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration that was with the product originally.  An additional open box fee will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.  **Please note that we do not permit the return or refund for following products:
    • Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have installed or used after receipt.
    • NFA items that require an ATF transfer after the start of paperwork.
    • Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics, and night vision equipment.
    • Ammunition, black powder firearms, gun powder and/or primers.

CLASS / TRAINING CANCELLATION

  • You may request to cancel your class for a full refund up to 72 hours prior to the date and time of the class.
  • Cancellations 72 hours or less before the class may be transferred to a different date and time of the same class, but may not receive a refund.
  • Students who miss a class and do not notify Calibers within 24 hours of the class date and time may not receive a refund nor transfer into another class.
